Days spent catching up with friends in Annoeullin, wandering through Amiens & a return to Villers-Bretonneux made this part of the trip both relaxing and confronting. I love this part of the world.

Day 17 - London to Annoeullin (travel)

Mostly taken up with travel from London to Annoeullin and back with friends and their wonderful guesthouse.

Day 18 - Annoeullin

It started with a walk out to the Commonwealth Graves site at Don then on to the Louvre in Lens and finishing with a great meal with friends.

Day 19 - Annoeullin

A walk through town to the German WWI cemetery then a catch up with Alexandra, David & April and then on to Phalempin cemetery. Once again, a wonderful part of the world with wonderful people.

Day 20 - Annoeullin to Amiens (travel)

Today was about first all saying au revoir to two wonderful friends and hello to an extraordinary city.

Day 21 - Amiens

What started with a walk around Amiens ended with a trip to Villers-Bretonneux. 25,396 memorable paces (per the Fitbit) taken, what a day.
