Paris Arrondissements
Paris Arrondissements
Paris is divided into 20 administrative districts called arrondissements, each with its own unique character, history, and attractions. They are arranged in the form of a clockwise spiral (often likened to a snail shell), starting from the middle of the city, with the first on the Right Bank (north bank) of the Seine. If you are booking a trip to Paris for the first time, it is handy to have some idea of the where to stay and the location of sites.
Below you will find some links for more detail, a map and a selection of Arrondissements to give you some idea. Like everything else relating to travel, there is so much information out there so start digging.
