This page is dedicated to means of transport taken during my overseas trips since 2013. They include different modes as well as family members that I have been fortunate to have shared the experiences with.
Planes
I view planes as a means to an end. Long-haul flights are never fun but they are much better than the first time we went away in 1986. With films, games, TV and the occasional nap, the time moves on and eventually deposits me to where I want to be. Business Class upgrades are definitely gratefully accepted ;-).

Trains
Invariably trains are the most feasible way to travel when the distances aren’t excessive. Through Europe and Japan, it truly is the most comfortable and affordable form of transport.
Others
This section includes a range of modes from trams, buses, cars and ferries mixed in between. Any means of transport that can help you to see more in the limited time we have in cities is ok with me.
